Accessibility Statement
Alon Renovations (A.Y. Finishing Works) is committed to providing equal service to all customers, and works to make its website and services accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law (1998) and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments) (2013).
Website accessibility level
This website has been made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines of the W3C. During the accessibility work, an effort was made to apply the standard's principles so that browsing is as convenient and accessible as possible.
What has been made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation — you can browse the site, open the gallery and fill in the contact form using the keyboard only (Tab, Enter, arrow keys and Esc).
- Clear focus indication — the active element is highlighted with a visible outline while navigating with the keyboard.
- Alternative text for images — all work and gallery photos have an alternative description for screen readers.
- Form labels — every field in the contact form is linked to a clear label.
- Semantic structure and language — each page declares its language and text direction, with headings and a hierarchical structure.
- Color contrast — text and background colors were chosen with sufficient contrast for readability.
- Reduced-motion support — the site minimizes animations for users who have set this preference in their operating system.
- Accessibility toolbar — the site includes an accessibility tool for personal adjustments (text enlargement, contrast mode, link highlighting, stopping animations and more).
The accessibility toolbar
An accessibility icon appears in the corner of the screen. Clicking it opens a menu that lets you adjust the site to your personal needs — including increasing and decreasing text size, high-contrast mode, link highlighting, a readable font, stopping animations and resetting the settings. The toolbar can also be operated with the keyboard.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts to make all pages and components accessible, some parts may not yet be fully accessible or may not be optimally supported by every browser and assistive technology. We continue to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis. If you encounter a component that is not accessible — please let us know and we will address it promptly.
